Mark J West Antique Glass

Specialists in 18th, 19th and 20th Century Antique Glass and English Ceramics

With over 50 years of experience, this long-established dealer specialises in antique glass, antique glassware, European glass and English ceramics from the 18th century, 19th century and 20th century. Starting in Portobello Road in 1970 and later opening shops in Wimbledon and Camden Passage, the business is now based online and at selected antique fairs.

Known for a strong focus on fine table glass – a historically underappreciated field – the business has supplied pieces to collectors, decorators, designers and major institutions including English Heritage, the V&A and the Metropolitan Museum. Clients range from private buyers to the trade, both in the UK and internationally.

A published author and Fellow of the Corning Museum of Glass, the dealer has written extensively on antique glass and contributed to numerous exhibitions, fairs and publications over the decades.

Stock includes a carefully curated selection of Antique English, Antique European glass, antique ceramics and related items that were made to be used and enjoyed. Every piece is packed in-house and shipped worldwide at cost.
